Fisker Automotive, the new American manufacturer of premium cars green, unveiled the Fisker Karma concept of S in the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The four-seat plug-in hybrid convertible hardtop promotes the company's belief that the driving style and performance need not be compromised by respect for the environment.

Fisker's Karma Outdoor S shares the concept of aluminum spaceframe architecture and clean Q-DRIVE ® powertrain with the Fisker Karma sedan. Designed and developed by Quantum Technologies exclusively for Fisker Automotive, Q-DRIVE ® has 50 emission-free miles on a single charge of its lithium-ion battery, up to 403hp from two electric motors. The power retractable hardtop, the first Fisker, slips easily into the trunk and a unique design language Fisker Karma concept sets the S apart.
